1. Who we are
AI-MASTER ("we", "us") operates the AI-MASTER mobile application and the aimaster.now website. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
2. What we collect
- Account data: email address, password hash, subscription tier.
- Vehicle data you add: make, model, VIN, license plate, mileage, service history.
- Media you submit for diagnostics or tuning: photos, audio recordings, video clips, and text descriptions of car problems.
- Camera access: used, with your permission, to photograph your vehicle, its registration document, or the problem area for AI diagnostics.
- Microphone access: used, with your permission, to record a spoken description of the problem instead of typing it.
- Push notification token: if you enable notifications, we store your device's push token to send maintenance reminders (e.g. 6 months after a diagnostic report).
- Advertising identifier: if you choose to watch a rewarded video ad (an optional way to earn a free diagnostic report), our ad SDK (Google AdMob) accesses your device's advertising ID to serve and measure that ad.
- Basic technical data: IP address, device/browser type, and usage timestamps (used for abuse prevention, e.g. rate-limiting the website's free "Try the AI" widget).
3. How we use it
We use your data to provide the diagnostics and tuning-visualization features, to process payments, to send transactional emails (verification codes, password resets) in your app language, and to prevent abuse of free features.
4. Third-party processors
To generate diagnostics and visual tuning results, your text and media are sent to third-party AI providers (DeepSeek, Google Gemini) strictly for the purpose of generating your response — see also the AI accuracy disclaimer in our EULA. Transactional email is sent via Resend. Rewarded video ads (optional — shown only when you choose to watch one to earn a free report) are served via Google AdMob, which may access your device's advertising ID for this purpose.
5. Data retention and deletion
AI-MASTER retains your account data for as long as your account is active.
Full account deletion: in the AI-MASTER app, go to Settings → "Delete Account" → confirm. Your account and all associated data (email, cars in your Garage, diagnostic reports, photos/videos/audio, referral links) are deleted immediately and permanently — this is not a soft delete with a grace period, but a direct removal from our database.
Partial deletion without deleting your account: you can delete an individual car from the "Garage" section at any time — this removes that car and all diagnostic reports and data tied to it, without affecting the rest of your account or your other cars.
Retention period: data is kept for as long as the account is active and is deleted immediately upon the deletion requests described above. There is no automatic purge after a fixed period (e.g. 90 days).
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
7. Cookies
The website uses minimal local storage only to remember your language preference and to avoid repeated locale redirects — no third-party advertising trackers are used.
8. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page.
